Carrie Vilaplana

President

Carrie Vilaplana is a Banker in the San Diego office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Carrie works closely with successful clients across the region including corporate executives, pre- and post-transaction business owners, real estate investors and nonprofits. Carrie’s strength lies in an ability to offer a holistic, engaged and responsive client experience. She draws on her strong commercial lending and institutional capital markets background to blend strategic planning with attention to the fine details of each relationship. She has a particular interest in working with philanthropically-minded families, and plays an essential role in preparing the next generation to be good stewards of wealth.

Throughout a 23-year career in finance, Carrie has been both market-driven and client-focused. She began at Lehman Brothers (NYC) and Wedbush Morgan Securities (LA) in asset-backed securitization and equity research. For the last 18 years, Carrie has worked in Private Banking presenting custom credit and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients. She began her Wealth Management career at Wells Fargo Private Bank and then spent some time with the Union Bank Private Bank, prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2021.

Community engagement is one of Carrie’s core values. She has been involved with the San Diego Symphony Notables and has been a member of the Board of Trustees of La Jolla Playhouse. She currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Trusts & Estates Council for Rady Children’s Hospital and serves as President of CREW San Diego’s Building Futures Foundation. Carrie is a Legacy Member of CREW San Diego and has been involved with the organization since 2017.

Carrie is a cum laude graduate of Amherst College, where she played on the varsity women’s volleyball team. She and her husband, Victor, are both San Diego natives and are enjoying raising their 2 children in the San Diego Community.

Bre’an Fox

Secretary

Bre’an enjoyed nine years working in multi-tenant office and R&D property in northern and southern California, and then founded FS Design Group in 1993 to serve the design needs of corporate clients, multi-tenant building owners and healthcare providers. During her 30-year career, Bre’an has been honored with various achievement awards from BizNow, SD Metro, Globe Street, Connected Women of Influence, YWCA, National Association of Women Business Owners, The Daily Transcript, and San Diego Business Journal.

Since retiring from FS Design Group, Bre’an has taken a more active role in her professional community. She was instrumental in co-founding the San Diego chapter and eventually the national network of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). Bre’an served on CREW SD’s Board of Directors for multiple years as well as the Advisory Board, and is now primarily focused on CREW SD’s recently established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CREW Building Futures Foundation.
When Bre’an and her husband, Ray, aren’t busy traveling, cycling, enjoying time with their 3 children and 6 grandchildren, Bre’an spends time mentoring young women who are forging the path of their own careers.

Toni McMahon

Treasurer

Toni has distinguished herself as a marketing leader in San Diego’s AEC industries. Toni manages all marketing and business development activities for Fuscoe in San Diego. Her existing clients and consultants are within several industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Architecture, Energy, Retail, Public Sector and Technology. These networks are her lead sources to uncover project and partnering opportunities. First step is earning trust through strong business ethics and an honest approach to doing business.

Since joining CREW in 2010, Toni has participated on multiple committees as well as the CREW SD Board as Marketing Director for 3 years. She currently serves as Treasurer on CREW Building Futures Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Olga Bastiaannet

Secretary

Olga Bastiaannet is an Associate Principal in the San Diego office of Randall Lamb Associates, Inc., a mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering (MEP) consulting firm. Olga’s role includes serving as the Business Development and Marketing Director for the firm, which also has locations in San Francisco, and most recently, the East Coast. She has been with Randall Lamb for 21 years, and in addition to developing and maintaining relationships with clients, directs all facets of the marketing process that includes proposal responses, social media, public relations, website and branding. Olga is also involved in the firm’s recruitment efforts.

With over 35 years of experience in the architectural, engineering and contracting (AEC) industry, Olga’s emphasis has always been on professionalism and integrity and taking good care of clients. In 2022, Olga was recognized as a Women of Influence in Engineering in the San Diego Business Journal.

In addition to serving on the CREW San Diego’s Building Future Foundation Board, Olga is a founding board member of the Hope for a Cure Foundation (HFAC), created in 2004 by five passionate volunteers to raise money for physician/researchers who are always in need of specialized equipment for their laboratories. HFAC has purchased over 20 pieces of equipment for various local cancer researchers, primarily at UCSD Medical Center. Olga is a legacy member of CREW San Diego and has volunteered in various capacities with CREW and other organizations over the years.

Olga is a graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington with a degree in Interior Design, and holds an additional certificate from UCSB in Interior and Environmental Design. She has raised two wonderful sons, considers herself a foodie, loves fine wine, sharing time with friends, traveling and Zumba!

Lisa Bittner

Member

Lisa is a seasoned business development professional with over 25 years of experience in the AEC industry. As the Director of Project Development at C.W. Driver Companies—a respected Southern California general contractor established in 1919—she is committed to fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.

Passionate about building authentic relationships, Lisa is also a dedicated advocate for advancing women in commercial real estate. An active leader in CREW San Diego, she has served in multiple Board of Directors roles, including President and Director of Membership. Through her leadership, networking, and industry engagement, she continues to champion CREW’s mission of empowering professionals and shaping the future of the industry.
